A COCKTAIL BAR IN SOHO

A modern British cocktail bar in Soho; on the crossroads of Brewer and Warwick Streets, Nessa bar is a place for spirited evenings and unhurried catch-ups with old friends. We keep things bold and British behind the bar, championing local producers and serving a cocktail list that nods to the artistic spirit of Nessa’s namesake – British artist and painter, Vanessa Bell.

Prop up the bar with a Cuppa G&T (a Nessa signature) or gather your friends for a full-blown celebration. Indoors, the sweeping horseshoe bar and velvet banquettes set the scene; outside, sheltered tables let you drink in the buzz of Soho. The bar is licensed late and open to casual diners and cocktail lovers alike.

DRINKS & SNACKS

Like the restaurant, the bar menu leans into bold flavours and British sourcing, with seasonal ingredients and some unexpected turns along the way. Cocktails are classic in structure, but never predictable; the wine list is broad and well-travelled, and Tom Cenci’s bar snacks come with a touch of nostalgia.

Bar manager Floriano Cubeddu leads with an inventive, British-inspired menu. Signature drinks like the Boho Negroni and Abstract 19 (served in a bespoke cup inspired by Bell’s Abstract Painting) reflect the bar’s creative roots and sense of occasion.

FROM BRUSHSTROKE TO BAR

At Nessa bar in Soho, creativity doesn’t just live on the walls or in the kitchen; it’s carried by everyone on our team.

Take the Abstract 19, our signature cocktail inspired by Vanessa “Nessa” Bell’s 1914 painting, Abstract Painting. Its bold colours and expressive energy are echoed in the drink and in the handmade ceramic cup it’s served in, crafted by Jasmine, a member of our front-of-house team.

Drawing from Bell’s playful composition and vibrant geometry, Jasmine translated the painting’s spirit into something tangible. The curves, textures, and tones of her cup mirror the artwork’s rhythm and reflect Nessa’s ethos: design with intention, freedom in expression, and creating moments that stay with you.

More than just a beautiful object, it’s a testament to the creativity we cultivate, not only in our spaces but in the people who shape them.
