Tom Cenci is the Executive Chef at Nessa, a Modern British restaurant and bar in Soho. With over 20 years of culinary experience, including leading Duck & Waffle and working under Joël Robuchon in Paris, Cenci brings a bold, ingredient-led approach shaped by global influence and Michelin-level precision. At Nessa, his menu reimagines British classics with playful creativity and open-flame cooking, using sustainable, locally sourced produce. Signature dishes like tandoori-spiced Coronation Chicken and poached Cornish cod reflect his flair, while the house soda bread “Tom’s Bread” honours his hands-on connection to suppliers. Alongside Head Chef James Noone, Cenci champions an inclusive, open kitchen culture, recently showcased on MasterChef 2024, reinforcing his belief that great food starts with a happy, collaborative team.

In addition to leading the kitchen at Nessa, Tom Cenci is also the Executive Chef at Yasmin in Soho and Mortimer House Kitchen in Fitzrovia, both part of the Maslow’s Collection of Houses. Across these distinct venues, Cenci brings a cohesive yet individually tailored culinary vision from the Middle Eastern influenced rooftop dishes at Yasmin, inspired by his time in Istanbul, to the heartwarming Italian fare at Mortimer House Kitchen.
