This Christmas, Nessa takes its cue from the golden age of the 70s, think Top of the Pops on the telly, Slade and Wizzard on the stereo, and the easy glamour of the era working its magic throughout. At the heart of it all, the headline act is always the food and drink on the table, making Nessa one of Soho’s most exciting Christmas restaurants.

Our festive menu takes familiar British traditions and lifts them with the best local produce and a touch of Nessa’s creativity. Think slow-reared Worcestershire Turkey with all the trimmings – Chilli-Roasted Sprouts, Honey-Glazed Carrots and Koffman’s Beef-Dripping Roast Potatoes for the perfect crunch; a showstopping Jammy Dodger Trifle layered with biscuit Chantilly cream, custard and raspberry jelly; and playful extras like the retro-chic Montgomery Cheddar & Roasted Pineapple Hedgehog. Perfect for a Christmas lunch or dinner in Soho, the menu brims with the abundance and playful spirit of the era.

From 17th November to 23rd December, Nessa transforms into its own Christmas special – Live From Soho – part dining room, part stage, part Soho hideaway. The season plays out to a soundtrack of 70s Britain, setting the mood while the food takes the spotlight. Whether you’re planning a Christmas party with friends, colleagues, or simply looking for a festive restaurant in London, gather your guests, raise a glass, and take a front-row seat at Christmas in its most delicious form.

CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS

Looking for the perfect spot for a Christmas lunch or dinner in Soho? Nessa’s feasting menu brings together the best of British produce with a nod to 70s nostalgia. At the heart of our menu, Worcestershire Bronze Turkey, brimming with pork and sage stuffing and carved to share, beef-dripping potatoes, honey-glazed carrots and chilli-roasted sprouts, your festive favourites.

Back by popular demand, our Sage Stuffing Brioche with chestnut sauce returns to the table, unapologetically festive (a dish you’d happily leave out for Father Christmas himself). To finish, the ultimate showstopper: our Jammy Dodger Trifle, layers of biscuit, Chantilly cream, custard and raspberry jelly.

The indulgence doesn’t stop there. Guests can enjoy a lineup of festive extras, think Montgomery Cheddar and Roasted Pineapple Hedgehogs, Pigs in Blankets, or Caviar Hash Browns for a touch of “more is more.”

The Christmas Feasting Menu is £65pp, designed to share and available for parties of six or more. For smaller groups, our à la carte menu runs throughout the season, ideal for a festive dinner or Christmas party in Soho.

We can host up to 14 guests around one table, with larger groups of up to 30 also welcome, making Nessa one of the most versatile Christmas party venues in London. CHRISTMAS BOOKING INFORMATION

Christmas booking 101; important details you should know ahead of confirming your reservation. The information below is relevant to all bookings between November 17th and December 23rd.

GROUPS, MENUS & SEATING

For parties up to six guests, you’ll dine from our lunch & dinner menu and can order on the day.

For parties of seven or more, we’ll serve the Christmas Feasting Menu for the table; there is an alternative plant-based option available for vegetarian and vegan diners. Should you have specific dietary needs amongst your party, do let us know with plenty of notice (we’d suggest a week) and we can accommodate most requirements.

We can seat up to 14 people along one table in the restaurant (bookable online) and can host groups up to 30 guests with seating across two or more adjacent tables (bookable by email). For more detail and availability, give our host team a call or drop them an email with dates/times/numbers and they can talk you through the seating options available for you.

BOOKING TIMES

We offer early and late sittings at lunch and dinner for all parties of seven or more.

At lunch 12-12.30pm is available for the early sitting and 2.30-3pm for the late sitting. For dinner it’s 6-6.30pm for the early sitting and 8.30-9pm for the late sitting depending on availability.

All those booking the early sitting will have their table for 2 hours and 15 minutes. If you’re looking to linger a little longer, guests joining us for the late sittings will have their table for the afternoon/evening.

Should you want to continue the celebrations, Nessa’s bar and lounge is open until late.

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATION

Due to the natural busyness of Christmas, we take a deposit of £30 per person to secure all reservations of seven or more. A member of our team will be in touch to confirm if you’d prefer this refunded or deducted from your final bill. For parties of up to six guests, we take card details as usual to confirm.

Running Christmas at the restaurant takes a huge amount of preparation; as such, we’ll be asking for at least 72 hours’ notice of cancellation for all groups of seven or more during this period (November 17th to December 23rd). For cancellations or a significant reduction in numbers made within 72 hours of the reservation date, deposits will be retained.
