Christmas Parties and Celebrations at Nessa

Christmas may feel a little way off while the weather is still mild, but there are good reasons for booking your celebration early, whether you’re gathering friends and family or tasked with organising the annual work party.

Early Christmas Celebration Bookings

Booking ahead gives you more choice of dates and avoids the stress of last-minute planning. Early reservations also make it easier for everyone to organise their calendars and, in some cases, secure better value. It’s a simple step that helps ensure the event is both successful and enjoyable. Once the venue is confirmed, the rest of the arrangements fall into place with ease.

If you’re arranging the office party, starting early takes the pressure off and allows colleagues to be part of the decision-making. It’s a chance to create an occasion that feels like a genuine thank you for everyone’s work across the year.

Christmas Dining Options

Whether it’s colleagues, friends, or family, dining out is one of the most relaxed ways to mark the festive season. A restaurant allows everyone to relax and socialise without the need to cook or clear away afterwards.

London becomes genuinely magical at this time of year. Celebrate in the centre of town and you could combine your meal with a walk under the famous Oxford, Regent, and Carnaby Street lights, or fit in a show in the West End before or after dinner. Options range from pantomime at the Palladium to The Nutcracker at the Royal Albert Hall to A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic.

Festive markets and Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland add to the atmosphere, with ice rinks, fairground rides, and seasonal stalls.

Christmas at Nessa Soho

At Nessa Soho, the festive season is a highlight of the year. Our central location at Brewer Street makes it easy to pair a visit with the city’s celebrations.

Our British restaurant and bar are inspired by the radical spirit of Vanessa Bell, sister of Virginia Woolf, and the influential Bloomsbury Group. Under the direction of executive chef Tom Cenci, we focus on British produce and seasonal ingredients, giving classic dishes a modern, imaginative spin.

A Festive Experience at Nessa Soho

Current dishes include aged beef tartare with beef-fat charred sourdough, grilled sea bream, and roast rump of West Country lamb. To finish, our sticky ginger cake with caramelised milk ice cream makes for a fitting festive indulgence.

The setting is designed to feel both elegant and relaxed – whether you’re here for cocktails, lunch, or dinner. You might even return the next morning for brunch or breakfast to reflect on the night before.

Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner

We’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner all week. At weekends, join us for our all-day brunch and Saturday dinner service.

For theatre-goers or those short on time, Nessa Express offers a streamlined menu without compromise. Larger groups of nine or more can opt for our feasting menu, a generous spread of seasonal highlights and signature dishes at £60 per person.

Our dining room welcomes groups of up to 14, set beneath a skylight with views into the kitchen. With candlelight, cocktails, and a lively but relaxed atmosphere, it’s a setting that encourages conversation and connection.
