Critically acclaimed and creatively led, Nessa is a modern British restaurant in Soho with a creative spirit. Our Chefs bring originality to the pass, with a menu shaped by the seasons and built on the best of British produce. Cooking over a bespoke live-fire grill, the kitchen treats everything from meat and fish to vegetables and fruit with equal care, guided by seasonality, curiosity and memories of the dishes we grew up with.

We serve breakfast through to lunch and dinner, with an all-day brunch at weekends. Whether you’re dining solo or celebrating with friends, we welcome parties for every occasion in our warm, artfully designed group dining room.

ON THE MENU

Nessa restaurant in Soho, a modern take on British dining, our menus, rooted in seasonality and shaped by local ingredients worth celebrating. Working closely with British farmers and producers, the kitchen reimagines familiar flavours; always creative and never pretentious, adding hidden layers to enhance the flavour of each dish.

Current highlights (in our opinion) include Aged Beef Tartare with beef fat charred sourdough – now a staple on the Nessa menu – Grilled Sea Bream with fine beans, brown shrimp & peppercorn sauce and a Roast Rump of West Country Lamb brushed with black garlic, served with parsnip, chilli & mint.

For pudding, try our sticky Ginger Cake, a humble British classic taken to new heights, served with caramelised milk ice cream.

AGED BEEF TARTARE

A signature in our Soho restaurant. We use rump, which offers a richer texture to the classic fillet; trimmings are rendered down and the fat is folded through for a deeper flavour. Finished with a confit St Ewes yolk and charred toast brushed in beef fat.

CELERIAC CARBONARA & SMOKED SALMON CRUDO

A playful riff on the classic, this dish swaps pasta for celeriac and embraces the cream-based “British” carbonara of TV dinners past, reimagined with pancetta, Spenwood cheese, and lashings of truffle.

COAL ROASTED CABBAGE

Charred over coals for depth, British hispi cabbage is paired with a sauce made from Colston Bassett Stilton from Neal’s Yard and Sriracha for a little kick.

RESERVATIONS

Reservations can be made online for parties of up to 14 guests. For anything larger, just drop us an email with your preferred date and time, we’d love to host you for dining or drinks.

On weekdays, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At the weekend, it’s all-day brunch and dinner (Saturdays only). For groups of 9 or more, we offer a feasting menu – a selection of standout dishes designed for sharing.

PRE-THEATRE DINING

Whether you’re heading to Hadestown, Moulin Rouge, or indulging in an evening with Magic Mike, you’ll need something good to eat before the show.

The Nessa Express is our concise, pre-theatre dining menu, designed to get you in, fed, and off to the West End with time for a glass of champers before curtain up.

Expect favourites like Heritage Tomato & Strawberry Salad with radish and hot honey, Coronation Chicken with tandoori sauce, wild rice and apricot puree and Chocolate Mousse with Biscoff crumb, orange & olive oil to finish.
